He’s a big, senior dog who spent his whole life with an older lady. She died and Charlie ended up in a shelter. He was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program.
He needs the life he had before. He’ll need a slow introduction to potential adopters. He doesn’t need lots of exercise. Some short walks. He loves his bed (and probably a couch.) He loves cuddles, sitting on laps, and taking naps. If you’re interested, download an adoption application now. Then you’ll be ready to meet Charlie when we reopen.
- For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.
Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day but Tuesday. - If it’s not the right time to adopt, you can adopt other pets…or become a Virtual Foster for Charlie and sponsor him online.
