CURRENT HAPPENINGS: Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon: Home is Where the Waves Are
Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon Presented by Blue Buffalo looked a little different, but the 2020 Best in Surf title was awarded SUNDAY, SEPT. 13TH, to one talented surFUR!
SurFURS submitted a video of their best wave through Sept. 6 and were scored by a panel of judges. Awards were given to the top surfer in each weight category who went on to complete in Best in Surf!
Contestants also competed in the Couch Surfer Photo Contest and Freestyle Surf Contest!
Over 80 contestants participated and this year they entered the competition from all over the world — from Brazil, to Japan, to Honolulu, to the UK!
