Socorro is a memory care coordinator and has so much heart and dedication for caring for the elderly at The Meridian at Lake San Marcos. The pandemic put their senior center into a very difficult situation, with many employees quitting on Socorro but she was able to stick it thru. Even when Socorro herself had to fight thru the virus, she still did her best to care for her residents from a distance with keeping their families updated. Socorro is the definition of hard working and that’s what makes her a Hometown Hero.
