Curly is a sensitive soul who’s ready to get her next chapter started with a family who will boost her confidence and go at her pace. She entered our care as a stray with a couple of other dogs, and when we first met Curly she was experiencing a lot of fear. She’s made amazing progress working with our training team and building relationships with her regular caregivers, and she’s ready to head to her new home! Curly’s ideal family would have an understanding of dog body language or force-free training so they can help this lovely lady become her very best and bravest self. We aren’t sure how Curly would do living with other animals in her next home, but she is looking for a small family size with all humans over the age of 14. Curly loves enrichment, long walks to sniff as much as she wants, and spending time with humans who have earned her trust. She should avoid intense venues with lots of strangers, but Curly is happy hanging out at home where she feels comfortable and snuggling with her people.
