Anthony is an active, strong dog who needs mental and physical activity. He was adopted, but he was too much for the family. They brought him back and told us everything they had learned about him while he was in their home.
That helped us to find another home for Anthony. But, again, he needed more activity than they could provide, so he was returned.
He lives in a home with one of our trained, foster care volunteers. That helps to keep him “adoptable,” since he is living like he will in his new home.
Anthony will need a quiet household with adults who are dedicated to building his confidence. He likes to “herd” his people. He’s also protective of his family.
He’s not a running or hiking dog. Instead of physical stimulation,
Anthony needs mental stimulation to keep his mind occupied.
He needs a yard. He’s not an apartment or condo dog.
