Along with working at what her Aunt Yolanda calls the “baby factory” at UCSD, Kayla teaches yoga to pregnant moms and has gotten into selling essentials oils, discovering them after developing an autoimmune disease. Kayla does all of this with the biggest smile on her face and is so loved by patients and family alike, and that is why her Aunt Yolanda has nominated her as her Hometown Hero.
