Colleen is a Behavior Specialist at Rady’s Children’s Hospital and has truly made a difference in the lives of Jillian and her daughter, Christal, who was diagnosed at risk for autism at only 13 months old. Collen would meet with Christal three times a week and with her help, has not only strengthened Jillian’s relationship with her daughter, but now at 3 years old, Christal is no longer getting the diagnosis of autism and is considered developing normal. Colleen’s help has truly made a huge difference for the better in this mother and daughter’s life, and that truly makes her a Hometown Hero.
